2-4

1. With no guns violence would go down people could not shoot each other and wars could not be funded with no guns. But on the other hand how would people hunt or if someone is trying to hurt you how could you fight back? Yes because you would want the solders close to the cites and how much closer can you get if their in the houses? Like if your suspected on carrying drugs or illegal fire arms. Another one i if your suspected for a crime like theft they can search your house for the stolen goods and bring them back tho their owners.

5-8

Witness: A witness is someone how has sen a crime take place.

Indict:

Testify: Means to set up in front of the jury and tell them your side of the story.

Grand Jury: Says if their is enough evidence for the trial.

Due Process: The government must respect every right given to a person.

Capital Punishment: Death penalty.

Excessive: Its a type of government

Bail: A set amount of someone to take someone out of jail if the judge sees fit.

Peer: A another American.

Yes because what if they they did not do the crime and are framed they should have the right to fight it back. But if they were did do the crime should they have the right to fight it off and have a chance to get out of their jail time? this is kinda a two sided story because if they lost some right Innocent people could go to jail but if they don't people that did the crime could also get out. I would finally have to say they should have their rights.

first amendment

1. Give a speech before a large gathering of people and express opinions about the president's abilities.

4.
Write a letter for the editorial page of a newspaper in which you criticize a state legislator.

7.
Circulate a petition calling for the repeal of an unpopular law.

8.
Post your opinion on your blog about an.

The first amendment is important because if it did not exist people could be put in jail for a post in the news paper. Another one would be like a simple grouping of people to try and change a law. Or you could not talk about your thoughts to other people that for instance you don't like a law or something.

This also protects religion, speech, ect...
